Its importance for human beings is enormous because it has helped them adapt to the environment.
The progress of from top to bottom technology has facilitated to conquer communication barriers and reduce the gap between people around the world. Distant places have become closer each time and consequently, the pace of life has increased. Things that used to take hours to complete, can be done in a matter of seconds now. The world is smaller and life is much faster.

Technological advances have become an essential part of our lives. To understand why, it is enough to look around us and see that in every moment and context we are surrounded by it; whether we are working or resting, he is always present to make our lives simpler.
Due to its application, our standard of living has improved, because needs are more easily met. At large, the industries get the benefit from it. In addition, companies have grown and become more efficient, helping to create new employment opportunities.

Many computers and laptops have become zero in sizes and they have decreased the size of it so that it can be used more properly. The importance of technology is almost always linked to practical uses
In fact, a very expensive technology, or very complicated, does not usually succeed, because its implementation is very complicated. That is why technology has become easier. As the time is going the technology have been developed more properly and many people have made it more easy for users to use this thing and it will be done more properly as it is closely linked to the concept of innovation.
In this modern era, technology is essential. In fact, most scientific efforts are focused on the creation of new technologies that meet the needs of society and raise the level of welfare. That on paper, because technology is not always used for the intended purpose or designed to improve human life (there are important exceptions, such as war technologies), but always a technology meets a need. Needless, technology is not needed, and therefore, it will not be used.
Linked to the great needs of humanity, technologies of great value have always appeared. For the need of human communication came to the telephone, television, radio, internet. With the health needs, advances have emerged in surgery, general medicine, clinical analysis. With the economic needs have emerged new industrial technologies, process technologies, of extraction. And so we could continue to infinity because there is no area in which technology is not present: be it economic, industrial, social, political, scientific, legislative, educational … etc. in so far as it allows an improvement of the final result or a simplification of the intermediate processes. Associated with this is the concept of BAT (Best Available Technology), or best available technology, in Spanish.
Consequences of misuse
In this era technology is the most important thing to live in this world and through that, everything has become easier as well. Despite this, social inequalities mean there are still many people who do not have access to it.
On the other side, the quick development of modern devices, inspire consumerism, in totaling unnecessary use brings with it health repercussions, such as visual stress, insomnia, deafness or obesity, among others. The biggest disadvantage of technology is that we use this thing more frequently and for that, we can’t connect with our loved ones and we have kept this thing far behind it so we should emphasize on this thing.
The use of technology is immeasurable and will continue to change, based on the demands of people and the market. How we use it determines whether it is good or bad, useful or harmful. The technology itself is neutral, but we are the ones that make it good or bad, based on the use we give it.
